• Experience working with students with disabilities and IEPs preferred
• Knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and instructional best practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries in a home-based setting
• Follow all district policies regarding confidentiality, safety, and professional conduct in a home setting.
• Ensure a supportive, structured, and positive learning environment.
• Deliver one‑on‑one instruction in core academic areas (e.g., reading, writing, math) as outlined in the student’s IEP and teacher‑provided lesson plans.
• Implement instructional strategies and accommodations specified in the IEP.
• Collaborate regularly with the student’s general education teacher(s), special education staff, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate records of instructional hours, student progress, and completed assignments.
• Provide feedback and progress updates to the supervising administrator and IEP team as required.
• Adapt instruction to meet the student’s learning needs, attention level, and medical or emotional considerations.
• Other duties as assigned
• Hours and schedule determined by the student’s IEP and district guidelines.
• Internal applicants hourly rate determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement
• External applicants hourly rate: $32/hour
• Reports to Director of Student Services
