Responsibilities:

• Provides for emergency care of students, school personnel, and visitors
• Develops health care plans for students needing special physical health care procedures to be provided at school
• Appraises the health status of students
• Participates in the evaluation of students referred for special education
• Conducts health screenings for the purpose of identifying health concerns
• Knows and applies the State rules and regulations which govern school health
• Maintains accurate records pertaining to the health needs of all students
• Enters data into Powerschool for the purpose of supporting health service activities
• Maintains inventory of medications and office supplies to ensure items are available as needed
• Maintains student health informational records to provide information required by regulatory requirements

Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed in Illinois.
