The salary range for this position is $20.15 - $26.20 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

One East / West is a forty‑bed unit specializing in stroke rehabilitation. Our team is comprised of physicians who are board‑certified in stroke rehabilitation, nurses, therapists, nursing assistants, psychologists, dietitians and chaplains. Marianjoy Stroke Program is certified by the Joint Commission in Disease‑Specific Care in Stroke Rehabilitation. The stroke team uses a multidisciplinary approach to creating individualized treatment plans to manage the physical, emotional and behavioral changes a patient may experience with the goal of returning patients to their families and communities.

The complexity of patients on the unit provides an opportunity for advancement of clinical skills and professional growth and development.

The Rehab Nurse Tech‑MJ (RNT) reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The IP Rehabilitation RNT has expertise related to the specific needs for patients in the rehabilitation environment which include chronic conditions and disabilities. The Patient Care Technician‑MJ is a member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation care team.

Under the direction/delegation and supervision of a professional registered nurse, the Rehab Nurse Tech‑MJ assists the patient with activities of daily living, mobility skills, skin, bowel and bladder programs, and maintains a clean, safe environment for the patient.
