Estate Planning Legal Assistant – LHH
Full-time, on-site position based in Wheaton, IL, supporting a well-established suburban Chicago law firm. This role is a key part of the firm’s estate planning practice group, providing essential support to attorneys in both estate planning and estate administration. The position involves substantial client interaction, document preparation, and deadline management. SalaryCompetitive salary range: $55,000–$75,000 annually

- Prepare, organize, and maintain estate planning and administration documents with accuracy and attention to detail
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide status updates
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of all estate-related tasks
- Utilize Word Perfect and Excel effectively in document preparation and management
- Provide administrative and client communication support to the estate planning practice group
- 3+ years experience in estate planning and estate administration
- Proficiency with Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with legal software such as Wealth Counsel, Time Matters, or Juris (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supporting both client interaction and team collaboration
