GENERAL PURPOSE

This position, under general supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty by mixing and pouring drinks for patrons, taking food orders, and maintaining an efficient bar area.

Required Education, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Must be at least 21 years of age with at least two (2) years of experience and have a service-oriented personality.
• Must be able to communicate in English and understand information using verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Must complete onsite menu training and final exam.

Essential Functions

• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, meet dress code and grooming standards, and be prepared for outdoor weather conditions.
• Greet customers with a smile upon entry.
• Verify guests’ identification to ensure legal drinking age.
• Provide knowledge of all food and beverage items available.
• Present menus, answer questions, and recommend specials.
• Mix and prepare alcoholic beverages, beers, and wines.
• Take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Record sales and produce guest bills accurately.
• Handle cash responsibly.
• Ensure proper storage of products to maintain quality.
• Build clientele with a positive attitude and professional image.
• Monitor pouring sizes and control liquor, beer, and wine costs.
• Maintain supplies like ice, glassware, and garnishes.
• Support other staff as needed.
• Maintain familiarity with Arrowhead facility.
• Keep a clean and sanitary work area.
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Required Certifications

• Must have and maintain Basset certification and Serv Safe certification.

Physical Demands

Must be able to move behind the bar, reach items, and lift cases weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Environmental Demands

Occasionally move across wet surfaces; rarely exposed to loud music.

Hours

10-28 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary

$10.00 per hour plus tips.
