This position works with a group of people to perform serving duties at events, carrying trays, set-up for events, and cleaning up after events in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be at least 21 years of age with a service oriented personality and an eye for details. Must be able to carry a tray with 10 dinners, set tables, chairs, and rearrange furniture. Prior experience in a quality establishment preferred. Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write clearly in English. Must be able to work effectively as a team member.
Must have good interpersonal and organization skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Dependably come to scheduled work shift in a positive state of mind meeting dress and grooming standards for a professional appearance.
- Assist bussing staff in removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and then take them to the kitchen for cleaning when necessary.
- Securely transport food from the main kitchen to specific banquet area either on trays or in warming containers.
- Serve individual plates of food and/or beverages to guests in a professional manner.
- Set and decorate buffets.
- Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, ETC.
This position must maintain a current Safe Serv certification and Basset certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to: continuously move about the facility while carrying trays holding up to ten dinners and place on tables using grasping and hand/eye coordination; occasionally position one’s self to access items on lower and upper shelving and; occasionally move items such as tables, trays of food, cases of beer/wine, etc. weighing up to 40 lbs.
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to: occasionally move on wet, slippery surfaces and occasionally in a room with loud music.

Hours vary, days, evenings, weekends and holidays
SALARY
$15.00 to $20.00 DOE
SALARY RANGE
Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum
$15.00 - $18.75 - $22.50
