Part‑Time Sales Lead – White House Black Market
Location:

Position Objective: The Associate Lead supports store management to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability, executing sales and register transactions.
Functional Responsibilities- Promote customer service by greeting guests, responding to inquiries and complaints in a professional, timely manner.
- Perform basic operations: cash handling, price changes, merchandise handling, open and close duties; review timesheets and payroll records for accuracy.
- Monitor associate sales activity and productivity, providing performance feedback and motivation.
- Maintain awareness of customer interactions to improve service levels and reduce security risks, staying current on policy regarding payment, exchanges, and security practices.
- Keep knowledge of current sales and promotions; present and display merchandise accordingly.
- Support receipt and dispatch of inventory and supplies per company policy.
- Supervise associates involved in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, or customer service; prepare weekly schedules to meet coverage needs.
- Model sales expectations by employing techniques and sharing product knowledge; recommend selections or locate items based on customer needs.
- Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobe styling.
- Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management.
- Participate in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store sets and stock replenishment.
- Assist in developing store associates: interpret KPI reports, provide coaching, and supply feedback for performance appraisals.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of retail or sales management experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel to stores throughout the district.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
- Physical ability: walk, stand, maneuver on sales floor and stockroom; operate register; lift and carry up to 50 lbs; climb, reach, push, and pull merchandise.
- Regular attendance essential for adequate coverage.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Wage range: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, determined by qualifications.
