• Must have ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must have ability to deal effectively and courteously with associates and the general public.
• Follow safety and security guidelines to ensure students cross streets safely.
• Follow school dress standards, be punctual, dependable, and adhere to district requirements.
• Stop traffic to allow children and pedestrians to cross busy intersections.
• Maintain awareness of traffic hazards in the vicinity of crossings.
• Promptly inform the designated administrator of hazards and potential corrective measures.
• Exercise caution and prioritize safety while supervising children crossing streets.

To provide for the safe movement of children to and from school when crossing public roadways and intersections by observing gaps in traffic and leading the children across the roadway or intersection.

• Rate of Pay: $16.50/hour
• Working Conditions: Standing or walking up to 2 hours per day, exposed to all weather conditions.
• Selection Procedure: Qualified candidates will be contacted by the appropriate building administrator.
