What You Will Be Doing
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor supply chain performance measurement systems, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain coordination, communication, and auditing of all shipment‑related data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Consolidate sales orders, schedule, and route inbound/outbound freight based on delivery requirements, cost optimization, and product inventory levels at all locations.
  • Communicate effectively with order entry personnel, sales representatives, supply‑chain team, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on shipment execution.
  • Communicate effectively with all third‑party partners, including outside storage locations, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ensure all shipments are properly scheduled, documented, audited, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and resolve overage, shortage, and damage (OS&D) issues at delivery locations.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly shipping reports, customer pick‑up schedules, and daily sales order reports.
  • Adjust daily work schedules as necessary to support logistics demands across all locations.
  • Receive, verify, and enter vendor invoices into accounting systems, matching them to the rate confirmation, and resolving discrepancies with internal teams or vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (including DOT, OSHA, and EPA) by monitoring operation performance and adhering to established policies.
What You Will Need
  • College degree preferred;
    High School/GED required or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years of logistics experience with a preferred concentration in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with a rapidly growing company and facilities across the country.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a high level of intellectual curiosity, and a passion and desire to understand and improve upon business processes.
  • Ability to instill a positive team environment. Must be able to communicate comfortably with production associates as well as members of the executive team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to concisely summarize monthly operating results and future plans with executive staff and others.
Physical Abilities
  • Standing or sitting up to 8 hours per day.
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping actions.
  • Good spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipment.
Working Conditions
  • May be subject to noise above 85 decibels with proper protection equipment.
  • Willingness to communicate during weekends and evenings when issues arise.
