Pay $16.00/hour

Join Southwestern Community Action Council, Inc. as a Program Assistant supporting clients in the SCSEP Program.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
• One year of relevant experience in a human services or workforce development agency/or training facility.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• You must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

• Serve the counties of Brooke, Hancock, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Pleasants, Tyler and Wetzel.
• Assist in the administration of the local Senior Community Service Employment Program office.
• Match participants with jobs that align with their interests and abilities.
• Perform data entry and data management of participant information in NCOA, Department of Labor, and other program databases.
• Provide counseling and supportive services to help participants transition into unsubsidized employment.
• Maintain accurate biweekly staff and participant timesheets and submit them on time for payroll.
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary for program success or as assigned by the SCSEP Director or CEO.
