Engineering Design & Technologists, Architect / Sr. Architect
Description
MKA is a multi-discipline, full-service firm providing architectural, engineering, and construction administration services from offices in Wheeling, Charleston, and Martinsburg, WV, and Pittsburgh, PA. While educational, commercial/retail, industrial, governmental, and institutional building design has been the company’s primary focus throughout its 40-year history, an expansion into sports design following the acquisition of renowned JTSA Sports in 2023 has created exciting new projects and opportunities for talented architects, engineers, and designers alike.
In early 2025, MKA transacted with MCF Architecture, the longest-running architectural firm in Western PA. MCF has extensive qualifications in healthcare, higher education, performing arts, civic, liturgical, and commercial spaces. The merger elevates the combined company to nearly 100 employees, creating a regional powerhouse and one of the top architectural and engineering firms in the U.S.
