AboutThe Role
The WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital's high‑performing, four‑member Pathology team thrives in a dynamic community setting within a collaborative, integrated network. The role involves both surgical pathology and cytopathology, and offers a non‑academic opportunity with up to $50,000 in signing‑on bonus.
Qualifications- Pathologist requirements: MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree (or foreign equivalent), eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia, board‑certified/eligible in AP or AP/CP, commitment to diagnostic excellence, collegiality, and patient care.
- Medical Director requirements: MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree (or foreign equivalent), eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia, board‑certified/eligible in AP or AP/CP, five years of experience in a Pathologist position, commitment to diagnostic excellence, collegiality, and patient care.
