Adjunct Instructor, Accounting

The Department of Business at Wheeling University is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor in Accounting to teach undergraduate-level accounting courses. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in-person or hybrid and contribute to the academic success of our students.

• Teach undergraduate-level accounting courses during the Spring 2025 semester.
• Prepare and deliver engaging course content aligned with program learning objectives.
• Provide mentorship and academic support to students.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in required faculty meetings and adhere to university policies.

• Master’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field (required).
• CPA certification (required).
• Professional experience in accounting is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to student success and a collaborative academic environment.
