- Inspect all parts of electric motors for defects and anomalies.
- Perform incoming measurements and documentation on electric motor parts following teardown.
- Verify incoming shaft runouts via runout stand or lathe.
- Assist with writing final inspection work scope/report for final job quoting purposes.
- Assist with motor teardown and rebuild or rotating equipment when needed.
- Follow daily scheduled tasks prioritized by Production Manager.
- 3-5 Years of rotating equipment experience.
- Ability to perform precision measurements to ensure tolerance specifications are met.
- Ability to understand blueprints and technical specifications.
- Comfortable using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.
- Experience writing technical reports following completed work documenting failure modes.
- Have basic operating skills of manual lathes and milling machines.
- Fit within the HECO culture and share the same core values as the company and its team.
- A highly detailed individual who can excel in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.

- Great communicator with the ability to work with cross departmental personnel and people with various backgrounds and personalities.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight
