The Pickle Line Tandem Cold Mill Lead will take a leadership role in the department’s safety efforts and decision making in relation to operations and maintenance of the Pickle Line Tandem Cold Mill and supporting equipment. Additionally, the PLTCM Lead will assume a leadership role in process improvement efforts, coordinating quality efforts, cost reduction and other duties.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Two years of experience in cold rolling and/or pickle line operations in a sheet mill
• Five years of experience in manufacturing and/or construction

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Sheet mill quality inspection experience
