** About the Role
** As a
** Day Shift Line Worker
** at The Ziegenfelder Company, you’ll play a key role in our production process, ensuring our frozen novelties meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and are committed to maintaining excellence in every task.
** Essential Functions
*** Place sealed individual units into packaging and ensure proper sealing
* Repackage products that are improperly sealed or coded
* Dispose of scrap products and raw materials appropriately
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Comply with all federal, state, local, and company environmental, health, and safety policies
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
* Prior experience in food service or production preferred
* Must be 18 years of age or older
** Physical Requirements
*** Stand for up to 8 hours per shift
* Regularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs.
* Perform bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motions
* Work safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awareness
** Working Conditions
*** Exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided)
** Compensation & Benefits**
* ** Starting Pay:** $17.00/hour

* Schedule:
** 40 hours per week with consecutive set days off
* ** Benefits:
** Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment
