Nurse Practitioner – Mobile Medical Unit (Full-Time)
Wheeling Health Right – Wheeling, WV
Wheeling Health Right is expanding mobile primary care services across the Northern Panhandle. We are hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care, chronic disease management, preventive screenings, and health education from our fully equipped mobile medical unit. This is a team-based role, you will always work alongside a trained Mobile Data/Outreach Coordinator.
What You’ll Do
Perform patient assessments, diagnose and treat acute/chronic conditions.
Provide preventive care, screenings (BP, A1C, Hep C, HIV, STI, FIT tests), and health education.
Use EMR to document patient visits accurately and efficiently.
Deliver care in rural and underserved communities across Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, and Tyler counties.
Maintain mobile unit readiness, safety, and compliance.
Support grant-required reporting and performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For
Current WV Nurse Practitioner license & national certification (AANP/ANCC).
3+ years in primary care, urgent care, family medicine, or emergency care.
Strong clinical judgment and comfort working independently.
Valid WV driver’s license and ability to operate the mobile unit (no CDL required).
Commitment to serving underserved populations.

This salary reflects the current grant funded period of nine months. Funding is renewed annually, with strong potential for continued support.
