Travel RN - Med​/Surg - IV Therapy

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an IV Therapy position requiring PICC insertion and ultrasound guidance experience for day shift scheduling.

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• PICC certification required for day shift scheduling
• Experience inserting PICCs and performing guided ultrasound preferred
• Unexpired driver's license copy required for consideration

• Acute care setting within the IV Therapy/Infusion Therapy department
• 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week
• Day shift scheduling of 6am-6pm or 7am-7pm for PICC-certified candidates
• Rotating shifts required for candidates not certified in PICC insertion
• Uses Epic EMR
• Provide IV therapy care including PICC line insertion and ultrasound-guided procedures
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• No local candidates considered for this position
• Travelers who previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers cannot work within WVU facilities for longer than a year without taking a 2-year break, with cumulative experience applying
