, we’re seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide/Cook to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and provide residents with a positive dining experience. Assist with preparing and cooking meals according to established menus and recipes
Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, measuring, mixing, and portioning food
Prepare and serve meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences
Follow special diet instructions, meal plans, and portion guidelines
Ensure meals are prepared accurately and served on time
Assist with plating meals and preparing food trays for residents
Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines
Stock and organize food, supplies, and kitchen items
Clean and sanitize food preparation, kitchen, and dining areas
Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment and utensils
Maintain accurate food temperature, serving, and sanitation records
Follow all facility, safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
Provide friendly and respectful service to residents during meal service
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of our residents’ nutrition and well-being
Previous cooking, food service, dietary, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
Dependable, punctual, and responsible
Friendly, compassionate, and team-oriented
Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary instructions
Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Committed to providing quality service with compassion and respect
