Maintenance Technician – HVAC Experience – Wheeling Station
We are looking for a full‑time experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician with HVAC experience to join our team at Wheeling Station & Oglebay Village Apartments located in Wheeling, WV.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot work orders daily for residents, prioritizing the service requests and ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring that each unit meets the company standards and checklist.
- Maintain the exterior grounds of the property and perform seasonal duties such as snow removal or lawn maintenance.
- Conduct walk‑throughs of the entire property to ensure everything is in working order; if not, take the appropriate steps for correction.
- Prepare for inspections.
- Be available for quick response per company policy when on‑call.
- Attend staff meetings as required or requested.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager or Property Supervisor.
Work is typically performed at the property with a moderate noise level; however, it may vary depending on assignment. Walking, standing, sitting, crouching, crawling, and climbing are necessary throughout the day. Exposure to various weather conditions may occur when working on the exterior of the property. Lifting weights up to 50 pounds may be required.
Qualifications- Education:
High School or GED. - Work Experience:
2+ years of prior maintenance experience preferred. - Licenses/Certifications:
HVAC certification experience is preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license with insurance is required.
General Maintenance Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
Maintenance with HVAC Experience/Certification Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
Salary: $17 – $24 per hour.
