A Bucket Operator’s primary responsibility is to assist with the clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways. The operator operates an aerial lift (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines and may also operate chain saws, pruners, brush chipper, and climb trees using climbing equipment.

• Operate bucket trucks to remove vegetation from power lines.
• Operate cutting equipment such as chainsaws, pruners, and brush chippers.
• Climb trees using climbing gear when required.
• Execute emergency storm duty as needed.

• At least 6 months verifiable experience operating a bucket in utility or residential tree clearance.
• CDL or valid driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of pesticide handling beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to travel across PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV.

4–10 hour days, Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday with mandatory overtime periods. Emergency duty may be required.
