Job Summary:
Experience the best office in the world teaching skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages. As a highly certified Professional Instructor you will deliver high quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world class guest service in a safe and fun learning environment.
- Supervise a group of children, adults or families for the day on Whistler or Blackcomb Mountain, in a variety of activities including instructional skiing, skier safety, lunch, special events and to accept all duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor.
- Lead guests into a variety of advanced terrain
- Develop advance skiers and riders to reach their next level goals
- Work with advanced season long programs, and athlete development
- Lead sessions, and Instructor development programs
- Follow the guidelines and safety rules as outline in our Safety Manual
- Be responsible for your safety and the safety of the guests
- Act as the prudent parent in the absence of the child’s parent
- Attend all mandatory training sessions
- Be familiar with all Snow School programs, prices and lesson times
- We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist in other departments as needed
- Minimum Level 3 CSIA, PSIC, CASI, CADS or foreign equivalent is essential
- Certified Course Conductor is an asset
- Fluent in multiple languages is an asset
- Experience working with Children and Families is essential
- Experience teaching advanced lessons
- Patience and ability to have lots of fun
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and committed to working
