Become an Education Assistant at North Spring Creek Community School, providing essential support to students with special needs. This role includes supervision responsibilities before and after school sessions.
School District No. 48 (Sea to Sky) is on the lookout for an Education Assistant committed to assisting students with various challenges. The position involves 4.7 hours of classroom aid and 1 hour of supervision, ensuring students receive the support needed for successful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with physical and emotional challenges
• Oversee designated areas for safety and engagement
• Assist classroom teachers in meeting educational goals
• Address the individual needs of students effectively
• Contribute to a nurturing educational environment
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and relevant special program
• Up to one year of experience in a related field
• Must have a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License
• Basic First Aid knowledge essential
• Agree to a criminal records check
