As the Festival Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing events like the Whistler Village Beer Festival and Summer Festival. The position offers 10-40 hours per week, expanding during planning and execution phases. You'll ensure events are well-coordinated and that guests enjoy memorable experiences through effective communication and meticulous planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support event logistics and vendor coordination
• Maintain planning documents and timelines
• Assist during event setup and execution
• Handle guest communications and inquiries
• Track budgets and post-event evaluations
Requirements:
• 1-2 years experience in event or festival coordination
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Comfort with Google Workspace for event planning
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Detail-oriented with a calm approach under pressure
