Enhance mental health services as a Mental Health & Addictions Case Coordinator Nurse at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) in Whistler, BC. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery and wellness.
VCH is seeking passionate RNs and RPNs to be part of the Adult Mental Health team, delivering essential care and support to individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders. Your focus will be on providing treatment, crisis intervention, and comprehensive case management tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients through mental health evaluations and intake processes
• Develop personalized treatment plans and coordinate care
• Facilitate crisis intervention effectively as needed
• Conduct outreach and provide individual and group counseling
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals in a team setting
Requirements:
• Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
• Two years of experience in mental health or related fields
• Current BCCNM registration as RN or RPN
• Possession of a valid BC Driver's License for travel
• Strong knowledge of mental health treatment protocols
Contribute to the recovery journey of clients through dedicated care at Vancouver Coastal Health.
