Custodian Position at Sea to Sky District

Help maintain cleanliness at North Myrtle Philip Community School in this temporary Custodian position. The role involves cleaning and equipment operation from late June to early September.

This temporary Custodian role at School District No. 48 (Sea to Sky) is available from June 29, 2026, until September 4, 2026, or upon the return of the incumbent. Key responsibilities include general cleaning, using motorized equipment, and knowledge of appropriate chemicals. Relevant experience or training is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute general cleaning duties as assigned

• Change lights and lift furniture during shifts

• Operate motorized cleaning equipment effectively

• Knowledge of chemical applications and safety

• Secure the building properly during work hours

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 and relevant coursework

• Up to three months of custodial experience

• Understanding of WHMIS and Worksafe BC regulations

• Must pass a criminal records check

• Able to work full days during summer
