Building Superintendent

Position: Building Superintendent at Nita Lake Lodge
Take charge of property maintenance at Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, BC. As Building Superintendent, you’ll ensure the hotel's operational excellence through effective repair and upkeep.

This full-time role reports to the Director of Facilities, focusing on daily operations, maintenance, and overall property presentation. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC, plus strong problem-solving skills. You'll be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and support facilities while ensuring high guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs

• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance checks

• Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and activities

• Oversee cleanliness and organization in mechanical spaces

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school required

• Minimum 1 year of hotel maintenance experience

• Valid WHMIS certification needed

• Proficient in English, both oral and written

• Positive attitude toward teamwork and guest service
