Assistant Store Manager Retail Leadership

Lead retail operations for Columbia Sportswear Canada as an Assistant Store Manager, using coaching and sales expertise to strengthen consumer engagement. This is a full-time, year-round position with flexible scheduling.
You will guide Sales Associates and Supervisors while supporting the Store Manager. The position emphasizes product knowledge, selling skills, team development, and store productivity. You will help create memorable consumer experiences across brands including Columbia, SOREL, and Mountain Hardwear.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct daily operations for supervisors and associates
Coach teams on products, technologies, and selling skills
Develop strategies supporting engagement, sales, and profitability
Create weekly schedules and support expense targets
Maintain inventory accuracy and stockroom organization
Requirements:
Five or more years of relevant experience
Inventory, POS, and retail software experience
Experience driving personalized service and selling skills
Clear communication with teams and consumers
Availability for flexible retail scheduling
