Position: Dispatch Supervisor (Fixed Term)

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for organising and coordinating vehicle movements and ensuring our guest service standards are being met. They handle the day to day management of the dispatch department in the absence of the Dispatch Manager.

Dispatch Manager
Based in: Whistler, BC
Wage: $24-$28 per hour

Hours:

Full time, weekends
Dates: August 2025 – April 5th 2026
NOC: 72024

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Oversee the planning of daily passenger movements to ensure service guarantees and passenger’s pick up schedules are met.
  • Manage the fleet assignment to passenger movements in the most cost efficient manner possible.
  • Create and update the driving schedules based on operational requirements.
  • Work with subcontractors to arrange vehicles for passenger movements, if required.
  • Communicate with the Driver Manager to assess the shuttling needs and organise as appropriate.
  • Communicate with the vehicle maintenance department in order to schedule vehicles for work as required.
  • Between April and November each year, duties might also include; answering guest enquiries, dispatch coverage and assisting with company projects as requested.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in a fast paced, dispatch environment or similar.
  • Good knowledge of Whistler.
  • Excellent planning, scheduling and time management skills.
  • Proficient with modern software, such as Google Workplace.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and critical thinking skills.
  • Willing to work weekends and early mornings, year round.
  • Experience managing junior staff on a day-to-day basis.
  • Good knowledge of the broader Sea to Sky region.
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry.
  • Working knowledge of Whistler Connection dispatch software.
  • BC Class 4 (unrestricted) driving licence.
