Experienced Helicopter Pilot for Wildfire Control

Become an integral part of our aerial wildfire response team based in Whistler, BC, as a Helicopter Pilot. This full-time role emphasizes mountain operations, reconnaissance, and emergency water drops.

We are looking for a skilled pilot to navigate challenging environments in Western Canada, particularly during wildfire crises.

Your role will involve supporting ground crews and coordinating aerial operations efficiently. Experience in wildfire suppression and mountain flying will be vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct helicopter flights for wildfire suppression tasks

• Navigate various altitude and weather conditions

• Collaborate with various ground and air teams

• Maintain compliance with all safety and aviation protocols

• Be prepared for quick deployments across multiple provinces

Requirements:

• Valid Canadian CPL or equivalent license

• Extensive flight hours with mountain-operational experience

• History of working in aerial wildfire suppression

• Strong situational awareness and teamwork capabilities

• Ability to handle dynamic and stressful scenarios
