Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for a part-time opportunity with the potential to become permanent?

We are recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy and friendly finance team based in Whitby. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accounts payable or purchase ledger experience who is looking for a role offering 27.5 hours per week.

• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Dealing with supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing payment runs
• Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
• Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts administration

• Previous Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable experience is essential
• Confident working accurately with a high volume of invoices
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable using accounting systems and Excel
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: £14 per hour

Hours:

27.5 hours per week

Contract:

Temporary, with the potential to become permanent
