At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit two part-time In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Whitby store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

18 hours per week:
Sunday 15:00–18:00;
Monday 13:00–16:00;
Tuesday 13:00–16:00;
Wednesday 13:00–16:00;
Thursday Day off;
Friday 13:00–16:00;
Saturday 13:00–16:00

18 hours per week:
Sunday 06:00–09:00;
Monday 06:00–09:00;
Tuesday 06:00–09:00;
Wednesday 06:00–09:00;
Thursday 06:00–09:00;
Friday Day off;
Saturday 06:00–09:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

• Operate cleaning machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as required
• Work outside in trolley bays to keep them clean and free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training will be provided
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
• Smartphone with NFC capability to access Arcus Connect App (required for recording time and attendance)
