Make a real impact in a warm, vibrant home on the Whitby coast. Caedmon House is a unique, welcoming 9‑bed home supporting individuals with a range of needs, including non‑verbal communication and challenging behaviours.
Role Responsibilities- Providing strong, person‑centred leadership to the staff team
- Ensuring high‑quality care delivery in line with CQC standards
- Completing audits, supervision and appraisals
- Managing HR processes including recruitment, absence management and rota generation
- Ensuring compliance with MCA and DoLS
- Driving continuous improvement and best practice
- Maintaining excellent communication with residents, families, staff, and stakeholders
- Delivering positive outcomes against agreed KPIs
- Holding, or working towards, a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management
- Experience as a Registered Manager (preferred)
- Substantial management experience within residential or nursing services
- Valid driver’s licence
- Confident and experienced in MCA/DoLS compliance
- Highly organised, proactive and committed to person‑centred care
