Industrial Spray Painter – Manufacturing/Engineering Factory (Whitchurch)
Recruit4staff is proud to represent a leading Manufacturing / Engineering company in their search for an Industrial Spray Painter to work in their factory in Whitchurch.
Benefits- Competitive hourly rate of up to £15 per hour with overtime (time and a half) after 39 hours
- Day shifts Monday – Thursday, early finish Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm with a 12:00 pm finish on Fridays
- Full‑time hours – 39 hours per week
- Temporary ongoing role with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate

Our client seeks a skilled Industrial Spray Painter with experience applying coatings to C3 to C5 corrosion protection standards. Candidates should be proficient with airless, air-assisted spray pumps and conventional pressure pot spray guns, and possess strong knowledge of two‑pack paints, including epoxy primers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and apply industrial coatings to surfaces requiring up to C3‑C5 protection
- Operate airless, air‑assisted, and conventional pressure pot spray equipment
- Mix and apply two‑pack paints, including epoxy primers, ensuring durability and adhesion
- Conduct surface preparation, masking, and finishing techniques
- Inspect coatings for quality and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following health and safety regulations
- Proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter – essential
- Experience using airless, air‑assisted, and conventional pressure pot spray systems – desirable (full training provided)
- Strong knowledge of two‑pack paints and epoxy primers – desirable (full training provided)
- Expertise in applying coatings to C3 to C5 environments
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and ensure precise application
- Close attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
- Equivalent experience in roles such as Industrial spray painter, paint sprayer, body builder, or sprayer
- Commutable from Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Wrexham, Ellesmere, Crewe, Stoke, Nantwich, Telford, Whitchurch, Prees
