Tesco Colleague Esso Express

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

• Sun: 09:00 – 18:00
• Wed: 17:00 – 24:00

We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We support flexibility and welcome applicants whose availability aligns closely with our advertised times.

• Help to serve customers every day, delivering great natural service.
• Maintain product knowledge and work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
• Apply training to work safely, effectively, and serve customers brilliantly.
• Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand store performance, drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and contribute to delivering profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.

• Accept deliveries into the store when required.
