Location:

2188 Fourth St, White Bear Lake, MN. This position is part-time and may be found in multiple brands with duties varying by brand.

Position objective

The Associate Lead is primarily responsible for supporting management in general operations of the store to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability. Performs various sales and register transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes customer service by ensuring associates greet and assist customers; respond to inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Performs basic operations activities including cash handling and reporting, price changes, merchandise handling, and open/close duties; reviews time sheets and payroll documentation for accuracy.
  • Monitors associate sales activities and productivity; communicates performance to associates; motivates and trains associates to achieve targets.
  • Maintains awareness of customers to increase service levels and reduce security risks; follows operational policies on payment, exchanges, and security practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; presents and displays merchandise per current promotions and standards.
  • Supports receipt and dispatch of inventory and supplies according to company policy.
  • Supervises associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, or customer service; prepares weekly schedules within fiscal guidelines.
  • Models sales techniques and product knowledge; recommends merchandise or assists customers in locating items based on needs.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management.
  • Participates in and facilitates visual directives including store sets and replenishment.
  • Assists in developing store associates; interprets KPI reports and provides coaching and feedback for performance appraisals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Minimum 2 years retail or sales management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
  • Able to travel to stores throughout the district
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
  • Ability to operate a register, stand and maneuver on sales floor and stockroom, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, hand/fold merchandise, climb, reach, push/pull
  • Regular attendance is essential
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation and benefits

The wage range for this position is $13.20 to $16.40. Successful candidates’ wage rates will be determined based on qualifications.
