We are part of Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway, and committed to making a positive impact on the world. As a Robotics Technician, you will program, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic cells throughout all phases of robotic design, development, production, testing, and operations.

• Provide input for fixture design on new and existing programs.
• Assist with sourcing equipment, parts, supplies, and technical support.
• Develop and maintain layout of work cells.
• Establish production/process standards.
• Establish and monitor maintenance schedules.
• Write and update work instructions for robotic cells.
• Train personnel on equipment and processes.
• Maintain robots, mechanical/electronic equipment, and PLCs.
• Analyze robotic problems and assist with root cause analysis and corrective measures.
• Provide feedback for long‑term machine use/efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements and modifications to ensure greatest efficiency with safety and productivity as priority.
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment required for job tasks.
• Observe all established safety rules and regulations, including Lock Out Tag Out requirements, and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.

• Above‑average math skills.
• Above‑average proficiency in office systems (word processing, spreadsheets).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
• Can work well with others with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, including defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a forklift truck.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience.
• Experience with electronics (including PLCs).
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and reading blueprints/schematics.
• Experience with CAD programs preferred.
• Experience in plastics industry preferred.
• Valid forklift license.
