• Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and other stakeholders outside the project team
• Prepare preliminary designs for clients
• Review building codes to assure proper implementation in design
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with construction project managers, architects, civil, and mechanical engineers
• Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during construction document preparation and construction
• Produce construction‑ready design drawings coordinated with all disciplines to assure completeness and accuracy
• Manage construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with the construction teams

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 8+ years of structural engineering building design experience, ideally in commercial construction
• Ability to prepare structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, light gauge steel, and understanding of foundation design
• Proficiency using Revit independently to create construction-level structural drawings is preferred
• Knowledge of analysis and design programs such as RAM Structural System, SAP
  2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design package is preferred
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or ability to obtain within 12 months, is highly preferred
