We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Experienced Tax Manager to join our Commercial Real Estate team located in one of our New York Metro offices. Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration.

While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Manage tax compliance and tax advisory engagements in the NYC Commercial Real Estate Industry group.

Determine resource requirements and work with a team to ensure exceptional client service

Manage expectations with team members and monitor engagement progress

Lead the review of partnership heavy compliance (1065/K-1s) and related corporate filings, managing complexity across real estate structures and state filings

Research tax issues and filing requirements that affect tax compliance

Research complex tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regulations and other relevant authorities/guidance Draft tax technical memorandums and share knowledge to develop team members
