We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Associate to join the team in one of our New York Metro offices.

Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM. This position is rooted within the Private Client Services practice, with a particular emphasis on serving clients in the entertainment industry. In addition to entertainers and creative professionals, our client base includes Family Offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurs whose financial lives often span multiple business endeavors, investments, and personal interests. We work closely with clients to provide proactive guidance and a highly customized service experience designed to support their evolving needs.

The practice has a particular emphasis on supporting touring musicians and other entertainment professionals with their tax preparation and accounting needs. WHY COHNREZNICK?

YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts

Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables

Experience preparing and reviewing partnership (1065), S corporation (1120S), corporate (1120), trust (1041), and individual (1040) tax returns, including complex Schedule K-1 reporting and pass-through entity taxation.

Analyze and manage tax implications flowing from partnerships and S corporations to individual owners and family groups.

Must be able to perform various financial analysis including but not limited to balance sheets and income statements
