As a Spa Esthetician, you will be assessing guest needs, and examining skin, hair, or nails to assess their condition, appearance, and suitability for scheduled services. You ll also provide guidance on proper care and recommend home care routines. Additionally, part of your role involves promoting and selling spa/salon services and retail products, as well as setting up workstations or treatment rooms with essential products, equipment, and supplies to ensure guest comfort and safety.
Effective communication skills are essential, along with maintaining a consistently professional demeanor and appearance. You should excel in guest interactions, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that arise. Flexibility and a willingness to assist colleagues as needed are crucial, demonstrating a strong team-oriented approach. Building and maintaining positive relationships with associates and guests is key. Certification or licensing at the local and/or state level is required, with a preference for candidates who have completed a minimum of 200 hours of esthetician education and possess at least two years of professional experience.

CompensationFor applicants who will be working in NYC or New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $17.00 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on factors that may include years of experience within the job, within the required industry, education, and work location. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
