Pro Tech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in White Plains, NY. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused System Administrator to join our team. This role supports clients both remotely and on-site, primarily in Westchester County and New York City.
We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and technically adept professional who thrives in a team setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional IT support and solutions.
- Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
- Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
- Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
- Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
- Utilize RMM tools (e.g., Connect Wise) for system monitoring and management.
- Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
- Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
- Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable commute to White Plains, NY or willingness to relocate.
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Familiarity with RMM tools such as Connect Wise.
- Cloud experience with platforms like Azure or AWS.
- College degree in IT or related field and relevant certifications.
