Senior Managing Attorney – Divorce & Family Law
Location:
White Plains, NY (On-site)
Salary:
Up to $215,000 base (commensurate with experience) + performance bonus + full benefits package
A well-established boutique law firm focusing exclusively on divorce and family law is seeking a Senior Managing Attorney to lead high-level cases, mentor attorneys and staff, and support strategic growth initiatives. This is a high impact role with the opportunity to join an impressive and collaborative team!
Candidates should have prior trial experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex, high-conflict, and high-net-worth divorce and family law matters from intake through final resolution
- Provide guidance, training, and oversight to junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff
- Ensure high standards of legal practice, efficient workflows, and strong internal collaboration
- Conduct client consultations and contribute to business development efforts aimed at attracting high-caliber clientele
- Assist in evolving firm systems, policies, and best practices to support continued operational growth and client service excellence
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in divorce and family law
- Proven ability to supervise attorneys or manage a legal team
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to guide clients through emotionally charged legal issues
- Comfortable with modern legal tech, case management platforms, and digital workflows
