AboutYou
You have 1 to 5 years of litigation experience as a licensed Attorney and are comfortable handling pleadings, motions, discovery, and courtroom appearances. You think critically, prepare thoroughly, and manage deadlines and client matters with consistency. You work independently, ask questions when needed, and maintain clear, professional communication. You are reliable, practical in your approach, and focused on achieving solid results for the clients you serve.
Responsibilities- Manage an active caseload across Personal Injury, Estate and Trust Litigation, Guardianship matters, and general litigation
- Work closely with clients throughout the litigation process
- Prepare and file pleadings, briefs, petitions, discovery demands, and responses
- Attend client meetings, hearings, court conferences and depositions
- Draft correspondence, legal memoranda, motions, and discovery documents
- Conduct legal research and develop solutions‑oriented strategies
- Maintain client communication and ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met
- New York Bar license in good standing, with Connecticut admission preferred or a willingness to obtain Connecticut licensure
- 1 to 5 years of litigation experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and research skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal technology
- Professional communication with clients, courts, and colleagues
- Salary of $125,000+ based on experience, with bonus opportunities based on billable hours and contributions to the firm
