OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a progressive mental health practice, providing advanced care and overseeing site operations. This NP role combines hands‑on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring staff, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high‑quality care across the site. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovative mental health treatments and committed to guiding a team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Whatyou will be doing:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for advanced treatments, including Spravato therapy, both on‑site and via telehealth.
Provide ongoing patient care, monitor treatment progress, and adjust care plans as needed.
Manage medications safely and effectively as part of individualized treatment plans.
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to on‑site staff, including nurse practitioners, support staff, and care coordinators.
Oversee daily operations of the site to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to clinical standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical directors and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives for the site.
Other duties as assigned.
Valid and current NY state license as a Nurse Practitioner with specialization in mental health care. (PMHNP)
Proven experience in psychiatric assessments and treatment within mental health clinics or similar settings.
Strong understanding of innovative mental health treatments, including psychedelic‑assisted therapies.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including overseeing staff and site operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for mentoring staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to personalized, patient‑centered care and fostering a supportive work environment.
