RN Labor and Delivery

Location: City of White Plains

Overview

We are seeking a High-Risk OB RN for a fast-paced, high-acuity L&D unit. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to scrub in for C-sections.

What you will be doing

• 14 total beds: 6 labor, 5 triage/inpatient, 2 OR
• C-sections done on the unit
• AWONN ratios
• Dual charting:
  Meditech + GE
• Charge nurse typically non-patient care
• Scrub techs support the team
• Hospitalist in-house 3 nights/week
• RT & Pharmacy available 24/7

Schedule

• Nights
• Weekends: days every 3rd weekend
• Nights:
  Fri/Sat (3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks)

• Travelers do not work holidays
• Floating: task-only in OB/Nursery (no patient assignments)

Orientation

• 2–3 shifts

What you must have

• BSN REQUIRED
• High-Risk OB/L&D experience required
• ACLS & NRP required
• RNC-OB preferred
• Comfortable scrubbing C-sections
• Experience with rapid assessment and high-acuity care
• Must be customer-service oriented
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Salary/Rate Range

$118,000 to $153,000
