Security Officer
Job Responsibilities:
- Secures premises and personnel by monitoring property, surveillance equipment, and access points.
- Investigates & reports security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior
- Keeps accurate log of visitors, vendors and deliveries on site
- Announcing arrival when necessary - Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Schedule & Hours
Opportunities to move into higher wage positions within 3-6 months! (Based on availability, performance, attendance, etc.)
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Can always stay alert
- Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments
- Front Desk Concierge & Customer Service Skills required
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Security experience preferred
- Active NY Security License
- Drivers License preferred
