Full Stack Developer

Project Overview

Team is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer for a consulting role to support ongoing and future projects. The consultant will be instrumental in developing and maintaining sophisticated applications using .NET Core and Python for backend development, and React or NextJS for frontend development. This role requires significant expertise in deploying applications to Azure App Services, managing code repositories via Dev Ops or Git Hub, and utilizing Azure managed identities for secure resource access.

Additionally, the candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of Azure AD and Azure B2C authentication.

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using .NET Core and Python. Design and implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React or NextJS. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third‑party services. Collaborate closely with NYPA's teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and translate them into detailed technical specifications. Utilize Dev Ops or Git Hub for efficient version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Services, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement and manage Azure managed identities to ensure secure access to resources. Integrate Azure AD and Azure B2C authentication into applications to manage user identities and access securely. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application issues to maintain high performance and responsiveness. Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold code quality standards and foster knowledge‑sharing within the team.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance development practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Adapt to various projects and client needs, demonstrating flexibility and expertise in consulting engagements. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their business objectives.

Extensive experience in backend development using .NET Core and Python. Advanced proficiency in frontend technologies such as React or NextJS. Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration with third‑party services. Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases and ORM frameworks. Deep understanding of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines, specifically using Dev Ops or Git Hub. Expertise in deploying and managing applications on Azure App Services.

Strong knowledge of Azure managed identities for secure and efficient resource access. Comprehensive knowledge of Azure AD and Azure B2C authentication for managing user identities and access securely. Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Ability to adapt to different projects and client needs, demonstrating flexibility and expertise in consulting engagements. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technological advancements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Professional certifications in .NET, Python, React, Azure, or Dev Ops are highly desirable. Additional certifications or specialized training in cloud computing, particularly Azure, will be considered an advantage.
