Division Head – Seniors Program (Rising 5th & 6th Graders)

Elmwood Day Camp is seeking a motivated, confident Division Head to lead our Seniors Program
—a dynamic, specialized experience for rising 5th and 6th graders that blends independence, adventure, and the heart of traditional camp.

Our Seniors enjoy a program designed just for them, including day trips
, two overnight trips
, and full participation in Elmwood’s core activities and traditions. This division is all about growth—socially, emotionally, and as a community.

The Division Head is a hands-on leader who:

Builds strong relationships with campers and staff

Leads and mentors a team of counselors

Oversees daily programming and camper experience

Plays a key role on trips and overnights

Collaborates closely with camp leadership to strengthen and evolve the program

This role is ideal for someone who:

Has experience working with upper elementary-aged kids

Understands camp culture and thrives in it
