Position Description
Dominican High School is seeking a student‑centered, collaborative educator to join our Social Studies Department as a History teacher. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a close‑knit, mission‑driven school community that values strong relationships, academic excellence, and the development of the whole person.
About Our SchoolDominican High School is a Catholic, college‑preparatory, co‑educational high school serving approximately 320 students. Our small class sizes allow teachers to know students well and support them both academically and personally. We value educators who are reflective, adaptable, and eager to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies/History from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Wisconsin DPI certification in Social Studies/History, or eligibility to become certified – Dominican High School will support qualified candidates through the certification process
Preferred Experience
- Experience teaching Social Studies at the high school level is preferred, though candidates with K‑8 experience or non‑education/alternative backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Commitment to collaboration and professional growth
- Ability to support and advance the mission and values of Catholic education
